Designer, and Socialite; Born the son of 60’s fashion model and debutante Sylvia, and R&B pioneer Dickie Diamond, aka Mr. Wiggles. Lorenzo, from a young age possessed an entrepreneurial spirit, and gift for the arts. While still in high school he bested hundreds of other youth for the coveted chair of Fashion Segment Host for a local television network. After completing his studies in New York, Lorenzo Founded Viggiano Interiors in 1988, while continuing his family’s commitment to public service, serving as a Law Enforcement Officer. In a short time, Viggiano Interiors became one of Detroit’s most recognized full service interior design firms, securing a substantial number of residential and commercial clients. A leader in the industry, Lorenzo, through innovation, and determination has created a unique market niche for himself where none existed before. Clients not only get award winning architectural and interior designs, quality furnishings, and service, they get in-depth personalized attention with his unparalleled style.
“That’s Got To Go!”
Life style television show
Initially a freelance designer of residential interiors, Lorenzo held the prestigious position of staff
and resident designer for several luxury brands including Taubman, and Stroh. Commercially, a slew of large-scale projects have garnered him praise, from hospitality and entertainment splendors, state of the art medical facilities, movie sets, and educational campuses. Purchasing the dilapidated Hall mansion in the historical Boston Edison area of Detroit gave Lorenzo a chance to showcase his design skills and appreciation for some of the masters. After undergoing extensive renovations, his home served as an example of his well-respected work for many years.
Never complacent, he launched the pilot of his first life style television show, “That’s Got To Go!”, Starred in COI Vision’s comedy, “Frat House”, was added to Michigan’s first list of Prestigious Designers, received numerous print credits, and accolades for his works including Businessman of the Year, and Congressional, and Senatorial recognitions, and medals.
